Project Overview
Problem Statement: Chian-Chian (千千之美), an Asian artisan brand, wants to design artisan products for Western consumers and establish a product sales channel to reach the Western market. This case study outlines the process for me to research their market and their target consumer needs in order to establish an online presence, sales channel and product design guidelines for them.
Research Methods:
In my role as a UX Research & Strategist, I designed research studies to:
-
Understand the client's competitors and target market through online competitor analysis and market research, proposing a business profile for the brand
-
Understand the target consumer needs through needs-discovery research and concept testing to inform artisan product design, proposing customer journey maps and product design guidelines
-
Understand product sales channels and marketing strategies through online sales channel research, proposing a brand service blueprint to design the holistic service experience
Results:
After gathering insights from these investigations, I aim to design:
-
A Go-To-Market Strategy plan for Chian-Chian brand
-
Customer journey maps
-
Product design guidelines
-
